"The Walking Dead" season 7 star Norman Reedus recently opened up about the character deaths in the hit AMC series.

In an interview with TV Line, the actor said that he and his co-stars are not very fond of talking about character deaths because they feel as though someone in real life passed away.

"We're a very tight knit group down there, and we take it very personally, because we're in it and living it. Every time you see us crying on camera, those are real tears. It's a whole day of living that sh*t," he said.

"And when personal things happen to you, you don't wander around telling everybody your personal stuff. So for us, it doesn't feel like just a spoiler, it feels like a moment that really happened. And if there's a death involved, it's kinda weird to talk about it. It's like going to our friend's funeral or going possibly to our own funeral! It's not like, 'Hey, how are you? Want a selfie? Let me tell you about the funeral I was just at...'" he continued.

Unfortunately, Reedus doesn't have a say on whether or not there will be more character deaths this season.

Meanwhile, even though the actor is not fond of his co-stars' characters being killed off, the actor said that every demise brings the show to a whole new dimension. Other than this, every death triggers fans to talk and it also makes up for good and interesting storylines.

"I will definitely 100 percent say that it's well worth the wait. It's large. It's mind-blowing... It's a completely brand new world right now. It's very exciting and it's emotional. And then it's overwhelming and emotional," he said.

At present, fans are still speculating on who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed in the season 6 finale.

Some fans believe that Reedus' character Daryl Dixon is the one safe at the moment.

More specifically, majority of fans think that Michael Cudlitz's Abraham or Steven Yeun's Glenn could've been Negan's victim.

Narrowing down the options further, Cudlitz was recently spotted filming on set for the show's upcoming third episode.

As of late, Yeun hasn't been seen on set of "The Walking Dead" season 7.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 9.
