Bad news for PC gamers as Microsoft has already confirmed that the Halo 5: Guardians title will still be an Xbox One exclusive, effectively squishing the rumors or it making for a PC entry.

Master Chief has been one of the iconic characters for first person shooters. PC gamers have been waiting for a port of some of the games but the developers did not commit to providing a version for Windows.

Microsoft has said straight that there will be no plans to port the Halo 5: Guardians title to the PC platform, Windows Report has learned. However, the Halo 5: Forge title will still make its way to PC gamers later this year.

Another game that will be available for the PC platform is Halo Wars 2 which is shaping up to be one of the highly anticipated titles. Gamers are excited to try out new titles this year as NVIDIA rolled out the new GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 cards that would sweep off the previous generation of cards in terms of power and price.

There is still a bit of good news for PC gamers. Developer 343 has said that the Halo 5 Forge tools will be the first step of what Microsoft will be doing to support the Halo franchise for the Windows 10 PC platform, GameSpot reported.

While Microsoft has confirmed that the Halo 5: Guardians will not be available for the Windows 10 platform, the developer did tease that the newer titles could make up for it. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any confirmation as to what the future of Halo franchise would look like.

Microsoft is expected to present at the upcoming E3 2016 event and they could show off more about the Halo 5: Guardians title. They could also show off the future games in the franchise that would hopefully support the Windows 10 PC platform next year.
