New details for "Wolverine 3" will feature casting information on X-23 and two possible movie titles for the "X-Men" spin-off.
It seems that the possible movie title for the "Wolverine 3" spin-off has been revealed online as Twitter Username X-MenFilms.com tweeted that Fox has registered two movie titles for the sequel and they are "Wolverine: Weapon X" and "Weapon X".
Previous reports revealed that "Weapon X" could be the official title name for "Wolverine 3" as the entire films plot will feature an older and hardened Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) based on Mark Miller and McNiven's comic storyline, "Old Man Logan".
Several behind-the-scenes photos revealed that Jackaman is sporting an old bearded look for the film. The "Weapon X" title also implies that viewers might get to see the more unhinge and animalistic side of Wolverine as Jackman stated that fans will get to see Logan's famous "berserker rage" and he brought a little teaser of it during his cameo in "X-Men: Apocalypse".
In other news, casting details for Wolverine's female clone, Laura Kinney/X-23 who undername "Zoe" have been released as the studio is looking for a 12 to 15-year old girl and she is described as a child, but as wounder bada**, a pound puppy raised in captivity in a time of battle, without support systems of normal childhood.
Further details revealed that Laura has never experienced having a family of her own and has been in the compound for too long. X-23 will have an "authentic" intensity as her expression and body language speaks volumes and she is not very experienced in the outside world as anything is new to her. She lacks social skills and every new thing she encounters might scare, anger or even bore her. She eats like an animal, but with an high IQ, as she often studies and mimics other peoples movements. Lastly, Laura is tempermental, impulsive and feral in nature.
The casting added that the participant must have knowledge of martial arts and gymnastic as they would like prefer them, but noy a necessity. However, the actress must have a extremelyphysical body and be able to improvise during scenes, Screenrant reported.
Although the role of X-23 is high in demand, Twitter username GOAT Movie Pod cast tweeted several bts photos for "Wolverine 3" sees Logan traveling with an unnamed little girl and features Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor Charles Xavier.
Several fans speculated that X-23 has been already cast and that little girl could be her, but Fox has not made any comments regarding the leaked bts photos.
The third "Wolverine" spin-off will serve as Jackman's last portrayal for the iconic X-Men character as he officially retires the role. The sequel will feature three villains the Reavers, Hellfire Club and possibly the Essex Corporation.
"Wolverine 3" will be release in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
