The last franchise for the "Wolverine" movie is about to set sail, and just recently, on set pictures of the upcoming "Wolverine 3" went viral over the internet.
In the picture, Wolverine is sporting a heavy bearded face pushing Professor X's wheelchair, while in the other picture, you'd see him with a girl in tow. According to Ecumenical News, the pictures were taken during the scene where Wolverine was escorting Professor X out of the casino.
The picture showed a more aged Wolverine. During Comic con, Hugh Jackman already announced that the Wolverine that people would be seeing could be called "Old Man Logan in all his aged glory," and those on set pictures showed that Jackman wasn't kidding, as Wolverine literally looked old, which made the fans a bit sad seeing the character aged and realizing that this movie would be the last of the franchise.
Besides the leaked on set pictures, not a lot of updates about the movie is circling, and one thing that people are debating about is the rumor that the final "Wolverine" movie would be titled differently. Instead of having the title of "Wolverine 3," rumors say that there is a possibility that it would be titled "Weapon X" or "Wolverine: Weapon X," although Fox has not confirmed which of the two would be the movie's title as of the moment.
In other news, Christian Times reported that the after credits scene showed during the "X-men: Apocalypse" served as a glimpse on how the "Wolverine 3" story line's flow. It is speculated that Wolverine's female clone may be introduced in the upcoming "Wolverine 3" film. The female clone is named X-23 or also known as Laura in Marvel comics.
It is said that the female clone of Wolverine would also acquire his strengths and abilities, which led people speculating that X-23 would be the one who'll reprise the role of Wolverine now that Jackman is already retiring.
Fox and Marvel are keeping details about the upcoming "Wolverine" movie completely under wraps as most of the news are merely based on rumors. Eventually, more updates and a possible confirmation of the title for the movie could be released soon.
