It can be remembered that the finale episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2 showed how things got mixed up that almost ruined the anticipated wedding day. The episode also revealed that Rose is still alive disguising as Susanna, and Michael (Brett Dier) managed to unveil this secret. Jane's husband was then shot by Rose, which left Michael severely injured. This also resulted to another postponement of Jane's first sexual intercourse experience.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the show's executive producer, Jenny Snyder Urman, said that Jane will lose her virginity in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3. However, although the showrunner confirmed the said information, she did not reveal who among Michael and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will have the intimate night with Jane.

When Urman was asked whether the romantic scene is going to be shown in the finale episode of the upcoming "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, Urman noted that it will not be in the finale episode or in the first episode of the third installment.

On the other hand, according to Bustle, Justin Baldoni hinted that there is a possibility that Rafael and Jane will get back together. He said that if the two will be given another chance in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, then they may be able to work things around.

In addition, speculations are loud that Jane and Rafael may have the time to spend with each other, given that Michael still needs to recover from his gunshot wound. Fans are also saying that Rafael will take advantage on this situation in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 to get Jane back to his life.

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 is expected to premiere on Oct. 17 on the CW network.
