Reports suggest that the next Note device of Samsung will be called "Samsung Galaxy Note 7" as seen in a leaked logo. In the logo, the reported handset will feature an iris scanner with three various colors such as silver, black, and "blue coral," giving buyers more options.

According to Phone Arena, the leaked logo confirmed that the company Samsung will skip the number six of Galaxy Note since they want to align the Galaxy Note series with the flagship phone of Samsung Galaxy S7. The original Samsung Galaxy Note launched on October 29 2011, which is a year after the launch of Galaxy S7. It has a 5.3-inch high-definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is run by Samsung Exynos 4210.

The blue coral for Galaxy Note 7 indicates that Samsung wanted to choose a color that is a little more adventurous than the simple blue or black color option, Android Headlines reported. It shows a bit different from the blue topaz color that was seen in the Samsung Galaxy S6 which was launched last year and is brighter in color. This blue variant will be bold and vibrant with a deeper tone in it.

Galaxy Note 7 will have a 5.8-inch quad high-definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and dual-curved edges. It will come with a 6 GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage that is expandable through a microSD card. It will feature a dual-pixel 12-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/1.7, RAW image capture, OIS, and phase detection autofocus. It will also feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for those selfie lovers and who like long hours of video chats. It will also come with a microSD card slot, USB Type-C port, a BlackBerry Hub-like Samsung Focus app, and new S Note-related features. A 4000 mAh battery will power it. An IP68 certification will make it resistant to dust and water.

There is still no announcement given yet on its official launch date, but Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to unveil in a Samsung event this coming August 2. Other reports also suggest that the mass production of this device will begin next month.
