Many fans are waiting for the main roster debut of Finn Balor but the WWE may be planning a much bigger storyline later this year. According to the latest rumors, Vince McMahon and several top WWE officials reportedly wants to start a feud between The Club and The Shield.

A.J. Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are currently battling John Cena and it is believed that the feud will last until SummerSlam. On the other hand, The Shield will have a reunion of sorts as Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns compete in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE championship at Battleground.

According to Daily Wrestling News, McMahon is very interested in giving WWE fans something they want, The Club vs. The Shield, several months from now. However, the WWE chairman wants to make the trio of Styles, Anderson and Gallows stronger.

There are a couple of ways to do make The Club stronger with the first is having Styles win the feud against Cena. The second will be to introduce a new member and some names that have been floated around include Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura.

However, the only superstar that would be perfect as the newest member of The Club is Balor. The Demon is the original leader of the Bullet Club back in Japan. He also adds more star power to the stable as he is viewed as a potential WWE champion.

It should be noted that there are rumors about the WWE filing a trademark on the Balor Club name earlier this year. But it looks like he won't be a leader of The Club as the company dropped the trademark application, What Culture reported. Still, it is entirely possible that he will be just a member of The Club.

As for The Shield, their reunion is a big deal in itself and a feud with The Club would be a great story. But the WWE will have to slowly build it up first and not rushing Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns into being friends again.

The WWE championship may be involved in any storyline for The Shield trio as they are expected to be drafted to Monday Night Raw for the brand extension. The Club will likely be featured on SmackDown along with Cena, making a match against The Shield a bigger story.

These are all just speculations at the moment and WWE plans always change depending on McMahon's mood, injuries and other factors. Check out the video below for a tease regarding The Shield reunion.
