The production of "Sense8" Season 2 is picking up speed, and the cast and crew have moved on to Germany for filming after wrapping up shoots in Mumbai and Chicago, among many other locations.

Germany is the current known address of one of the sensates, Wolfgang, played by Max Riemelt. In "Sense8" Season 1, Wolfgang spent most of his time running from heads of organized crimes in the locality, and consequently killed everyone who posed a threat to him. In "Sense8" Season 2, Wolfgang will find himself in uncharted territory facing a new evil.

"There are new power games taking place, new dark characters who come after him - he has to restructure everything," Riemelt said in an interview with Buzzfeed. "He has to find purpose again in living and staying in Berlin and chasing his plan of being free but still in power so no one can come after him. We also explore more of his sensate side and his storyline gets more interesting because there's something new to explore for him and for the whole cluster."

Will his story also delve deeper into his brewing romance with fellow sensate Kala (Tina Desai)? In the first season, Kala showed romantic feelings for Wolfgang, despite being engaged to Rajan (Purab Kohli). A recent photo from the show's official Instagram account shows Rajan carrying Kala, and the two lock themselves in loving gazes.

Are Kala and Wolfgang officially endgame? Not quite. Desai revealed that her character still has a "love story that continues with both boys."

Meanwhile, "Sense8" has undergone a lot of changes since the second season began production. For one, Aml Ameen was replaced by Toby Onwumere for the role of Capheus. It was said that Ameen left the show due to creative differences with the Wachowskis. It was also revealed that Lilly Wachowski is stepping down as one of the show's directors, leaving her sister, Lana, as the lone director of the show.

Moreover, actress Jamie Clayton revealed on Twitter that the first episode of "Sense8" Season 2 will premiere on Christmas, while the rest of the episodes will air in 2017.
