While the cast of "The Conjuring" did a good job of scaring their audience, it turns out they had their own share of scary experiences too, both on set and off set. Imagine: the events depicted on film were actual events that happened in real life. The cast and director revealed recently the strange and creepy things that happened to them on set, and it may lead a few to wonder if these eerie events were caused by the same spirits they depicted in the movie.

According to Patheos, director James Wan was not spared from these spirits. One night, when he was working on the script, his new puppy suddenly barked viciously on an empty space, even though Wan did not see anything disturbing. Afterwards, the dog walked around the space like it was following something, and it weirded the director out, considering he just saw transparent air.

In another incident, it was revealed that Patrick Wilson also experienced some paranormal activity, and this time, it is on the set of the "Conjuring 2," Movie News Guide reported. The actor filmed a video of the curtains flowing in the air like it was blown in the wind; only there wasn't any wind in the room. All the doors were closed, the air conditioning was turned off, no fans were turned on, and Wilson didn't feel any wind himself. This comes as a shock because the cast and crew had their set blessed for the second movie of the franchise; whereas, they did not do so for "Conjuring 1."

Vera Farmiga, the actress who plays the lead female Lorraine Warren, had her own share of strange experiences herself. One day, she was researching about her character when she had to take a call from Wan. While on the phone, she closed her computer to focus on the conversation, and upon opening the computer, she was shocked by digital claw marks on her screen. Upon returning to her upstate New York home, the actress woke up to find the same claw marks on her thighs, in the form of bruises.

These experiences must have changed the way the actors acted on set, but if they continue happening, they may be prohibit the crew from making "Conjuring 3."
