It was just last month when the political satire comedy series, "Veep," wrapped up its fifth season. Given that the show already received a green light for a sixth season, rumors are loud that "Veep" Season 6 is going to feature how Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) adjusts to a civilian life.

It can be recalled that the finale episode of "Veep" Season 5 showed how Selina got kicked-out from the White House, after Senator Tom James (Hugh Laurie) loss the presidential battle against Laura Montez (Andrea Savage). The new administration also claimed the credit from Selina regarding the lead protagonist's work in liberating Tibet from the Chinese.

Given that Selina is not the president anymore, and because she can no longer reclaim her vice-presidential seat, "Veep" Season 6 could revolve under a plot showing how Selina would adjust from being the former leader of the United States into a regular person of the country, Deadline has learned.

According to the same publication, the showrunner of the series, David Mandel, revealed what the fans should expect in "Veep" Season 6. The executive producer said that the sixth installment is going to show Selina's life outside of the White House, but she may not be remembered as an excellent former president.

Mandel also revealed the possibility that Selina may not have the same type of benefits or privileges given to former presidents, and she may not also have a 24-hour secret service to guard her every single day in "Veep" Season 6. The EP added that he is excited on how Selina would live in a world where she is unfamiliar at.

MNR Daily cited how Selina reacted after knowing that she will be leaving the White House and become a civilian. It was shown in the finale episode that the lead protagonist is not yet ready to live her life as a civilian.

As of the moment, the release date of "Veep" Season 6 has not been announced by HBO.
