"Nashville" star Hayden Panettiere has broken her silence following speculations that she and fiance Wladimir Klitschko have ended their engagement.

Panettiere took to Twitter on Friday, July 8, to refute rumors that she and her professional boxer fiance have split, E! Online reported. The actress shared a family photo that showed the engaged couple relaxing together with daughter Kaya. She also addressed speculations of a broken engagement on the said social media site.

She wrote that being spotted without an engagement ring does not necessarily mean that a relationship has ended. Photos of Panettiere sitting on a stoop in New York without her engagement ring surfaced after the July 4 holiday. The actress capped off her Twitter message where she described her family as blessed and indicated that she was fortunate to have her fiance and daughter in her life.

The former "Heroes" actress and Klitschko announced their engagement in October 2013. The couple also shares a daughter together, nearly two-year-old Kaya. Following Kaya's birth in December 2014, Panettiere has opened up about her challenges with postpartum depression.

She voluntarily checked herself into a rehabilitation center in October 2015 to seek treatment for the disorder. Earlier this year, Panettiere told her fans in a Twitter message how much postpartum depression has affected her life, as indicated in the same report. She also shared that has focused her energies on trying to stay healthy and reflecting "holistically on [her] ... life."

Meanwhile, Panettiere is set to reprise her role as Juliette Barnes in the upcoming "Nashville" Season 5 to air on CMT, according to TVLine. Joining the actress is her co-star Connie Britton, who portrays the character, Rayna James. Other cast members expected to reprise their "Nashville" roles include Sam Palladio, Lennon Stella, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Chris Carmack, as well as Maisy Stella.

The country music drama capped off its four-season run with a series finale episode that aired on May 25. CMT picked up the series after ABC canceled the show. "Nashville" Season 5 is expected for release later this year.
