Despite being reported of a delayed release in the last months, it seems that Square Enix's official announcement for a September launching of an upcoming "Final Fantasy" offering will finally push through as a US Box Art of the game was released recently. The art features key characters players will be encountering mostly during the game.
A few months from now, the new offering of the "Final Fantasy" series from Square Enix will be launched. Dubbed as "Final Fantasy 15," the upcoming game features main protagonist, Noctis, who is torn on a mission to regain the throne of their kingdom that was taken away by the evil Nifelheim empire, VG24/7 reported.
With a rebellious streak known to many FF heroes, Noctis Lucis Caelum has an impending need to grow up quickly in order to save his kingdom. But he is not alone. Together with some friends and a trusted counsel, Noctis will find a way to succeed in his mission.
According to the report mentioned above, the game is slated for launching in Sept. 30 this year, as previously announced by its publisher. The launching will be done simultaneously for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms and for regions such as the North America, Europe and Japan.
The latest installment had been in development for 10 years. It was revealed that it will come in different versions coming on a regular, collector's, day one, and with and without pre-order bonuses types. It currently has a free-to-watch anime tie-in online and a side story entitled "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15," just before the game becomes available.
When it was reported that the game will again be delayed, one of the reasons pointed out was a preparation of a PC version. Though developers were open to the idea, they cleared that the main priority is to have the game running first in PS4 and Xbox One, according to an interview conducted by Kotaku.
Now that more and more details are being revealed, it may be less likely that the game will still be moved off its release date. Fans are highly expecting it will be available based on the announced launching date.
