"How to Train Your Dragon 3" is one of DreamWorks Animation's movie offerings for the year 2018, and even if its premiere is not until two years from now, the movie installment is already gaining popularity rapidly.

Aside from the movie, DreamWorks is also slated to release "Larrikins," a movie about an Australian marsupial who goes on a roadtrip with its animal friends, and the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie, which has yet to have an official title.

According to Movie News Guide, the third installment of the movie franchise may see Toothless and Hiccup separate for good towards the ending. Since this is the last movie of "How to Train Your Dragon," it will definitely depict a conclusion to the story that will surely bring their audience to tears.

Meanwhile, the movie's director, Dean Debois, shared more about the plot of "How to Train Your Dragon 3," Ecumenical News reported.

The director said that "How To Train Your Dragon 3" is the "culmination of Hiccup's coming of age," and this is where Hiccup will be "able to stand on his own." He adds that now Toothless and Hiccup are both "chiefs of their respective tribes," both characters will be seeking out to do "what's right for their kind."

As for the casting of "How To Train Your Dragon 3," Kristen Wiig is to reprise her role as Ruffnut, Gerard Butler as Stoick, and Jonah Hill as Snotlout. Jay Baruchel will continue to be Hiccup's voice actor, and T.J. Miller, Craig Ferguson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, America Ferrera and Cate Blanchett will reprise their old roles as Tuffnut, Gobber, Fishlegs, Astrid and Valka respectively.

Meanwhile, the release date of "How to Train Your Dragon 3" has created a bit of controversy. Initially, the movie was set to be released on May 18, 2018, but will now be moved to June 29, 2018. This is apparently because DreamWorks has specific marketing strategies in order to gain good revenue, as the new premiere date is closer to summertime, and therefore, more children will be inclined to watch the movie.
