Nintendo has increased its promotion activities for the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" 3DS game. A latest trailer has unveiled interesting details about the game such as its battle system and new gameplay elements.

A new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer has been recently released that teased some of the features that players can expect to see and experience in the game. It featured a mix of in-game shots and footage of players enjoying the handheld gaming title. The clip showed the game's multiplayer player battle mode where up to four players can join in to compete in a Pokemon tournament, Polygon reported.

The clip also teased a few of the Pokemon characters included in the game. Some of the characters included the well-loved Pikachu. A few Johto and Kanto Pokemon characters also made an appearance in the trailer, as well as some new ones such as the recently leaked bear Pokemon named Kiteruguma.

Some of the previous released new Pokemon characters were also featured in the clip. These characters include the legendary sun Pokemon Solgaleo, as well as the legendary moon Pokemon Lunala.

However, one interesting gameplay information teased in the trailer included the game's trainer ability to ride a Pokemon. A few scenes in the clip showed a trainer riding a Lapras, Tauros and Sharpedo to explore the game's world.

Another highlight in the trailer would be the Pokemon grooming mode, similar to Pokemon Amie. Avid fans of the "Pokemon" gaming franchise may recall that the Pokemon Amie feature was first introduced in "Pokemon X and Y," as indicated in the same report. The said mode allows players to bond with their Pokemon through petting and primping.

In other news, the Japanese magazine CoroCoro will soon release a special "Southern Islands Alola Guide" in its upcoming August issue, according to Serebii. The guide is said to contain important information about the game's Alola region that players will need to start their new Pokemon journey. The CoroCoro issue will be released on Aug 12.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be released on Nov. 18 on Nintendo 3DS.
