Loyal fans of the AMC show "The Walking Dead" have been looking forward to Season 7 news. New updates are expected to be unveiled during the show's upcoming Comic Con 2016 panel that includes a first look at the upcoming season's promo clip.
The sixth season of "The Walking Dead" ended with a cliffhanger where the identity of Negan's victim remained a mystery. Avid viewers have already come up with several speculations that included the death of Steven Yeun's character Glenn. Although some fans have also been eagerly awaiting for the AMC series' panel discussion to be held at the Comic Con event in San Diego to learn more about the show.
Some of the series' cast members and producers will be joining "The Walking Dead" panel at the said event, according to a report posted on Entertainment Weekly. Fans attending the convention may get the chance to ask a few questions, as well as learn interesting information about show. However, one of the highlights of the panel would be the unveiling of the Season 7 trailer.
The clip is expected to feature a glimpse at the challenges that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his gang will encounter in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Many fans have been hoping that the trailer will provide a hint on the person who died under Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) infamous bat Lucille.
The upcoming seventh season of the AMC series will also give avid viewers a look into the Saviors, Negan's group of supporters. Showrunner Greg Nicotero described the villain's army as a group of sadistic persons who follows a certain system, as indicated in the same report. He hinted that the storyline for the new season will tackle the mythos surrounding the group, apart from other plots.
Meanwhile, cast member Tom Payne took to Twitter on Wednesday, July 20, to tease that fans will definitely go crazy over the soon-to-be-unveiled Season 7 trailer, Undead Walking reported. The actor shared that he already saw the said promo clip and that avid viewers will "flip [their] s---" when they see the clip. However, he did not divulge any information about the said trailer.
"The Walking Dead" Comic Con panel will be held on Friday, July 22, at Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center.
