The Nintendo game, which allows users to catch Pokémon on their smartphones in real-life settings, has not been released in South Korea but is already being played by thousands of Korean. Many individuals have flocked to Sokcho, Gangwon-do province after it was reported that the "Pokémon Go" app works there.

"I went all the way to Sokcho and I caught twenty-something Pokemon," All Kpop quoted Nam as saying during his recent guest appearance on MBC Radio's "Park Kyung Lim's 2 O'Clock Date" on July 19, Tuesday. "I could have caught more, but they kept running away, so I decided to dress up as Pikachu... I did not have any scheduled broadcast appearances yesterday so I headed to Sokcho."

On July 18, Nam posted a live broadcast on his Facebook account to tell his fans that he has headed out to Sokcho, which is around a two-hour drive from Seoul, South Korea, just to play "Pokémon Go." Dressed up as Pikachu, Nam said, "I'm in the middle of the promotion of my new song titled "Can't Help Myself" but I could not help but come here to capture Pokémon during my day of rest."

During his guest appearance on the said radio show, Nam also detailed how he grew close to American actress-model Chloë Grace Moretz, 19. He said that Moretz is like a younger sister to him, adding that they got closer through several broadcast appearances, Soompi reported.

Nam even uncovered that he recently received a message from the "If I Stay" actress, which said that she has been enjoying his new songs. The singer added that he plans to meet Moretz once he visits the United States again, as they were not able to meet up during his latest trip to the US because of their respective busy schedules.
