'Food Wars: Shokugeki No Soma' season 2 episode 4 eng sub is now making the rounds online and it shows the dessert battle between Takumi Aldini and Mimasaka Subaru.
Takumi Aldini and Mimasaka Subaru faced off in a Shokugeki after the latter insulted Takumi's younger brother Isami and their Italian cooking. Subaru went as far as putting a gum on the Aldinis' Mezzaluna or curved blade shaped like half moon.
In the shokugeki, Takumi declared a duello with bets that if Subaru wins, he will take Takumi's Mezzaluna, while if Takumi wins, Subaru will apologize to his brother Isami. It was revealed that Subaru had 99 shokugekis before and took all their knives as prize and injured the pride of the chefs.
Takumi and Subaru shokugeki's theme is desserts. The audience noticed that both of them are using the same ingredients and concluded that both will make a Semifreddo, an Italian dessert. Subaru cooks the same dish, but with his own twists and improvements.
At first, Takumi lost his confidence, but used lemon curd in his semifreddo. However, Subaru laughed and revealed that he added preserved lemons as his final twist. He also revealed that he knows Takumi will use lemon curd based on his research or stalking.
Surbaru was declared as winner and advanced to the semifinals. He also took away Takumi's knife as well as his precious chance and dream to beat Yukihira Soma in the Autumn's election semi finals. Moreover, he will not apologize for insulting Isami and their Italian cooking.
