"Game of Thrones" cast members Iain Glen and Gwendoline Christie were spotted in Belfast, the base camp for the TV show, on July 25. Glen and Christie play Jorah Mormont and Brienne of Tarth.
A fan saw Glen and Christie reading scripts for Season 7, according to Vanity Fair. Meanwhile, some of their co-stars busy themselves with other projects.
For instance, Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke is shooting "Above Suspicion," an adaptation of the 1992 true crime novel by Joe Sharkey. It is about a new FBI agent (Jack Hutson) who falls in love with an informant named Susan Smith (Clarke) who gets pregnant with his child; then he kills her.
Clarke's character Smith is an impoverished Kentuckian and is expected to speak with an accent of a Southern American. Sharkey reportedly feared that the screenplay will not portray Smith's complexity. He got more involved with "Above Suspicion" and a recent visit to the set removed his fears as he is all praises for Clarke.
Another "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow is in Montreal, Mail Online reported. He got the lead role in "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan." The story is about a movie star (Harington) who has been connecting with an 11-year-old actor and the correspondence between them was exposed and scrutinized by "The Gossip" magazine.
Meanwhile, the first teaser of Marvel's "Iron Fist" has already released. It stars Finn Jones in the titular role. Jones played Loras Tyrell in the HBO hit series who died in season 6 finale.
Furthermore, Charles Dance who played Tywin Lannister and no longer in the "Game of Thrones" visited Thiepval Memorial in Authuille, France to pay respect to those who have fallen in the Battle of the Somme during the first world war. He read Siegfried Sassoon's "Aftermath" at a commemoration ceremony.
Richard Madden, whose character Robb Stark already died. plays Romeo in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" at the Garrick Theatre but is currently excusing himself to nurse his injured ankle.
