Its production team recently decided to push back the premiere date of "Pitch Perfect 3." Instead of being released in the middle of 2017, they decided to release the third instalment on Christmas day of 2017.
A lot of fans were disappointed because of the recent announcement, plus news about Adam Devine's uncertainty whether he'll be part of the film made fans feel a bit sadder about the upcoming "Pitch Perfect 3."
According to Teen Vogue, Devine recently spoke with Los Angeles Times writer Amy Kaufman, and the actor stated that he is still unsure whether he would be a part of the film or not.
Devine plays the role of Bumper, who is also known as Fat Amy's love interest. In the previous instalment, Bumper and Fat Amy finally decided to make their relationship official, and with that being said, a lot of fans are actually looking forward to seeing what went down between the odd couple.
During the actor's interview with Kaufman, he also shared that up until this moment, he hasn't received any calls from the production; however, if ever they asked for him to reprise his role in "Pitch Perfect 3," Devine thinks that his schedule wouldn't allow him to.
Since Devine actually feels terrible about the uncertainty of his character's return in the film, he is actually trying to convince Zac Efron to replace him and play as Bumper's younger brother.
According to Ecumenical News, Devine has been trying so hard to convince Efron to be part of the upcoming "Pitch perfect 3"; however, during an interview with both of the actors, Efron instantly declined the former's offer, wherein he stated "Not a chance... I don't think I could because when he (DeVine) does it, it's great. He's so funny."
Since it's clear that Efron doesn't want to be part of the film, a lot of fans are wishing that Devine could somehow tweak his schedule and make time for "Pitch Perfect's" filming, especially because fans are truly looking forward in seeing how his relationship turned out after Fat Amy graduated.
"Pitch Perfect 3" is set to premiere on Dec. 25, 2017.
