Disc jockey Jay Whalley of Preston wanted to exchange a blazer he purchased from online clothing store ASOS and decided to have some fun. Asking for a return, he complained using the lyrics from Eminem and British singer-songwriter Dido's song, "Stan" and the store played along with the joke.

Whalley filled out the return form to ask for a different size but he had not heard back. Hence, he decided to make a follow up and find out what was going on, The Sun reported.

The DJ found a unique, clever way to deal with ASOS' customer services. Eminem's original lyrics include: "Dear Slim, I wrote you but you still ain't calling. I left my cell, my pager, and my home phone at the bottom."

Whalley wrote:  "I sent you my exchange but still it ain't returning. I left my size, product code and order number at the bottom. I sent a FCUK blacker back in July, you must not-a got'em. There probably was a problem at the DPD office of somethin'."

The customer changed the lyrics so they would be but his missing blazer. However, there were a few lines he left as they are.

ASOS dealt with the clever complaint hilariously. It used some rap as a reply, courtesy of a certain customer service staff, Rianna. She asked the customer transaction details in an equally creative way.

Writing from Eminem's rap part from the song "Stan," Rianna said: "Dear Jay, I meant to write you sooner but I just been busy. You said you returned your blazer how long ago?.And I'll look into this for you."

The DJ who was obviously amused by the response shared the conversation on social media. His followers were tickled by the exchange of messages. The post was flocked with like and comments as people said it was the funniest they have seen all day.

Whalley's decision to be creative of his complaint and the social media showdown gave the online clothing company some exposure, according to The Drum. The customer also got the replacement of his blazer, as per his Facebook page.
