It is Sasha Obama’s turn to shine just days after elder sister Malia flaunted her abs at Lollapalooza and mother Michelle Obama stunned the White House guests when she wore a white gown designed by Lady Gaga’s designer at a state dinner.
On Thursday, Page Six reported that the second daughter of U.S. President Barack Obama, Sasha, started her summer job as fish server at a seafood restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts. She was also photographed manning a cash register at Nancy’s Restaurant.
The photos showed that Sasha wants to experience what many American youths do during summer – that is earn some money on the side, while enjoying. Well, almost, because with her morning shift at the fried fish restaurants comes with six Secret Service agents.
Now 15, the presidential daughter who uses her full name Natasha buses tables and prepares the restaurant before it opens for lunch. A server at Nancy said they noticed the new summer job trainee assigned downstairs at the takeout had six people helping her until they learned the other people are Secret Service agents assigned to Sasha, reported Boston Herald.
But most of the time, the six waited outside the restaurant inside a large Suburban SUV and on takeout benches while Sasha worked until 11:30 a.m. At the end of her shift, Sasha and a friend who also works in the restaurant bring with her a tray of drinks to her security men and then got in the SUV.
Sasha likely got the summer job at Nancy’s because the restaurant is a frequent stop for the Obamas during their yearly vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, plus the owner, Joe Moujabber, is reportedly a family friend.
