Hence, anyone who has the chance to be near the Iron Throne cannot resist the urge to sit on it, take pictures as the King or Queen and simply touch it. The Brienne of Tarth actress herself recently posted a photo on Twitter where she shared her desire to seize the Iron Throne.

"Hopefully this photo on the iron throne after a day of shooting is a sign," the bodyguard of the Stark's eldest daughter commented. Smiling in the selfie, everyone sees Brienne of Tarth's dream.

Brienne of Tarth is heading to Winterfall, hoping that the eldest Stark girl will put an end to the reign of Cersei Lannister. Lannister is the current occupant of the throne as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Meanwhile, the massive HBO hit is doing some promotional series for fun. With the current election season in the United States, it did some campaign ads from the characters who are in line for the Iron Throne. There are four characters they have released ads so far - Peter Baelish, Cersi Lannister, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.

The "GOT Party" campaign promotes the release of Season 6 on digital platforms. Furthermore, it allows series fans to vote who they favor to seize the Iron Throne.

The four characters campaign line ads are "Baelish aka Lord Littlefinger," "Cersie aka The Lioness," "Jon aka The White Wolf" and "Dany aka The Breaker of Chains." They are accompanied by their "running mates" - Sansa Stark for Baelish, Qyburn for Lannister, Lyanna Mormont for Snow and Tyrion Lannister for Targaryen, according to the GOT website.

As of Aug. 13, Saturday, Baelish leads with 34 percent of the votes, Bazaar reported. Trailing him are Snow and Targaryen who tied with 32 percent while the incumbent occupant of the Iron Throne Lannister lands last place with 1 percent. Series followers can vote until Aug. 31 to support their favorite character and see who gets the most votes on Sept. 1.
