Fans of the show have been split on Michael's fate on the show, considering the major cliffhanger in Season 2; however, actress Gina Rodriguez teased that fans will see more of Michael in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3.

"I think you're going to see Michael," Rodriguez told Wetpaint. "I don't know if he's alive or dead but you're going to see him." Are we seeing Michael alive or as a ghost?

Coinciding with Rodriguez's statement, several photos on Instagram and Twitter showed actor Brett Dier joining the cast's first table read for "Jane the Virgin" Season 3. Entertainment Weekly reported that there's a good chance Michael might still be alive on the show, with the happy vibe going on during the table read.

Dier was joined with cast members Justin Baldoni, Jaime Camil, Ivonne Coll and Yael Grobglas.

Fans won't have to wait for long to find out the answer to the big question, as executive producer Jennie Urman previously hinted that Michael's condition will be disclosed very early on "Jane the Virgin" Season 3.

Moreover, Urman revealed that Jane is going to lose her virginity "not too far in the future." Having Michael back alive and kicking will definitely up those chances. Even with the love triangle with Rafael, Jane chose Michael because she was sure of him. Plus, Michael said his wedding vows in Spanish. How could you get rid of such a cutie?

Urman said that the idea came from one of the show's writers, Carolina River. "She said, 'Michael has to say his vows to Jane in Spanish,' and I thought, 'Oh my gosh, that's perfect!' It was her idea, and it was one of those ideas [where] there's no debate. We just all knew it instantly. It made me emotional just to think about it," Urman told TV Line about the big Season 2 moment.

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 air date is scheduled on October.
