During a recent launch event of children's mental health podcast, "Child in Mind", the duchess announced about her wishes towards her children in the future. The podcast was arranged by the Anna Freud National Center for Children that aims at providing parents with useful information on how to help their children with their mental health-being.

She said during the event, "No parent would fail to call the doctor if their child developed a fever, yet some children are tackling tough times without the support that can help them because the adults in their lives are scared to ask."

Earlier this year, Catherine had started her endeavor to create mental awareness through an event, Heads Together where she advocated the need of addressing mental problems and providing solutions to bring ease. She highlighted the need of extensive research and compassion required for children's mental health, Huffington reported.

A survey shows that about 20 percent of the US children are diagnosed with mental health disorder or will be diagnosed sometime in the future. However, the only drawback is that mental issues are still regarded as a taboo that thwarts mental caregivers from giving adequate treatment to such victims. The royals are, therefore, hoping to change people's mindset.

Meanwhile, the duchess added, "Throughout my work with family and child support organizations, one thing that has stood out to me time and again is that getting early support for a child who is struggling to cope is the best possible thing we can do to help our children as they grow up."

Although, Kate's pregnancy is yet to be confirmed by the royal couple, it is assured that the duchess care for children. She recently made a notable comment regarding how she would not hesitate to provide counseling for her children, if the need arises. Given the pressures of a royal life, it would make absolute sense to have a therapist for her kids, according to the Inquisitr.
