Karlie Kloss is the official best friend of Taylor Swift and the two are always there for each other. Fans have seen how much they love each other as their social media posts are buzzing with warmth and affection for each other. However, the recent feud between Swift and Kim Kardashian gave Kloss a tough time as she was apparently forced to take sides.
The 24-year-old supermodel was asked during an interview if she thought Kim Kardashian was a good person and Kloss said that she has been a lovely person to her in the past, Vanity Fair reports. Kloss might have said it, but she was obviously not expecting it and after saying the good thing, she issued a disclaimer of sorts, reportedly in a bid to cover up the previous statement.
She added that she does not know her that well. It is clear that she said this to prevent people from misinterpreting her words, but the very thing she wanted to avoid, ended up following her. This is to say that media and fans started saying that she was taking Kim's side. The fact that she shares a manager with the reality star, made things look suspicious.
Miffed and upset with the conjectures, Kloss took to Twitter and issued a clarification saying that Taylor has always had her back and she will always have hers. She also said that she will never be that girl who can be used to pit women against each other, E! News claims.
Well, it looks like her diplomatic exit from the discomforting query was not enough and only served to further the chances of the sensationalist speculators who leave no chance to make a mountain out of molehill.
They have been at work ever since Swift and Kardashian landed in a feud; a result of the latter posting a video recording of Swift where she is seen approving Kanye West's lyrics from the "Famous" track. Many celebrities have been asked to give their opinion on the matter to see whose side they take and the same happened with Kloss. Fortunately, she managed the situation despite getting into trouble.
