Shane McMahon surprised the WWE universe when he returned in February and faced The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32. According to the latest rumors, Shane-O-Mac wants to face Kurt Angle again in a rematch of their classic street fight in 2001.

The only son of Vince McMahon did not show any ring rust against The Undertaker and he seems healed up after taking a ridiculous bump in the match. In a recent appearance at Cheap Heat podcast, Shane was asked if he will be wrestling another match.

"If it's the right scenario, I'm pretty much healed up from WrestleMania, but I'll tell you what. At 46 (years old) it takes a whole lot longer to heal and get ready," Shane said.

According to All Wrestling News, one of the rumored opponents for Shane is Triple H that may happen at WrestleMania 33. It will be Loser Leaves WWE Match because Vince wants to use the real-life animosity between Shane and Stephanie McMahon.

However, Triple H, who is the real-life husband of Stephanie and an executive with the WWE, does not want to work in any capacity with his brother-in-law. One other match that popped up during the podcast is a rematch with Angle, who Shane faced at the King of the Ring 2001 in a hellacious street fight.

"Personally, I'd love to do that again. I'd give that a shot. But again, sometimes the business, as we get older, unfortunately, in the business, the brain will say 'go' and the body will say 'no'. And at some point, there's a time you just have to pick a different path," Shane said.

As of the moment, Angle is not yet signed by the WWE despite reports of the two sides agreeing to a deal earlier this year. Several reports have confirmed that the WWE is worried about the Olympic Gold Medalist's health and past drug addiction.

Angle is already 47 years old with five neck surgeries throughout his career as well as being addicted to pain killers. It should be noted that the former WWE superstar has been sober for years now and he is in great shape despite his age.

Nevertheless, a Shane vs. Angle rematch is still a dream for many fans until the WWE officially signs the Olympian. The WWE have been bringing back former talents and Angle could be one of them. Check out the video below for some of the highlights of their street fight.
