The much-anticipated "Prison Break" Season 5 will bring Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) back. He is not dead, and his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and the rest of the group are planning for his escape out of the prison.

After almost a decade, the new season returns with a more grounded, modern feel where Burrows is tasked to take his brother out of one of the worst prisons in the world, the Yemen detention.  Purcell hinted that "Prison Break" Season 5 is very worldly and more deadly because they are going to deal with the ISIS.

"I think this version is more worldly, it's heavy shit," Digital Spy quoted Purcell as saying. "The first season was heavy, but this is real heavy shit, because we're dealing with ISIS, we're dealing with ISIL.

Teasers have revealed that Scofield had survived his supposed death, and now he is working with the terrorists. Purcell believes that "Prison Break" Season 5 is better than the previous seasons because it has a different feel in terms of the story, the production and their acting.

Almost all the  characters, including C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar), Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) and T-Bag (Robert Knepper) are returning for the new season and are going to have a big mission of helping Burrows in breaking out of the Yemen jail. A new sneak peek shows that C-Note is telling Burrows that Scofield seemed to be working for the ISIL to take down the government, iDigital Times reported.

The new trailer of "Prison Break" Season 5 also hints that Burrows, Scofield's wife Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and the three of the Fox River State Penitentiary's most notorious escapees are planning for the series' biggest escape in its history.

The group is going to escape the Yemeni prison and the country itself. There are also speculations that Scofield will be heartbroken after discovering that his wife is already married to another man.

"Prison Break" follows the story of Scofield, who will do everything to save his convicted brother, Burrows, from the death row. After some time, everyone thought Scofield was dead until the group discovered that he was locked in the Yemeni prison.

Burrows, Tancredi and the rest of the gang immediately planned the escape. They will do everything to take Scofield out of the prison.

"Prison Break" Season 5 will return in 2017 on Fox every Tuesday nights at 9/8c. The theme of the Paul Scheuring serial drama is reportedly based on "Love, brotherhood and family." Check out the new season trailer at the Comic-Con:
