LG has finally released a teaser image for the LG V20 and announced the official unveiling date in the United States which is on September 6 followed by South Korea in September 7.

The LG V20 is being touted as the world's first Android smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, beating even the Google Nexus 2016 Marlin and Sailfish devices. It also happens to include a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC which is also a world's first for LG.

For those who are unfamiliar with digital to analog converters, they are often a bulky device that improves the sound output. In the LG V20's case, it will come with a built-in DAC that is claimed to be even better than the DAC installed in the LG V10.

LG also teased that the LG V20 will also provide "the best video" experience, Phone Arena has learned. It is unclear at the moment what the company is referring to but it could pertain to the rear camera of the Android Nougat smartphone.

The LG V20 specs are unclear as they are mostly based on rumors and speculations. Video capture on the smartphone could be made even better through providing manual settings and a better image sensor.

Besides the video experience, the company has also boasted the audio prowess again with the teaser. LG's moniker "hear, see and more" could refer to the DAC while the see part could be a better screen, ZDNet reported.

The LG V10 carried an AMOLED 2K screen and the LG V20 could probably sport the same or a 4K screen if the company is so bold. Unfortunately, there has been no evidence to suggest a 4K screen at all but their teasing gives users a glimmer of hope.

LG could sell the V20 on September 23 for T-Mobile users at around $650 for the unlocked version. Monthly installment plans have not been leaked yet and the carrier-specific version could still cost even less than the unlocked version for those who do not mind which network they are using the LG V20 with.
