Finally since the wait for the name of the actress to play the role of Carol Danvers is over, now the speculations have started about the look of the character. As per the latest updates, the costume for the iconic female superhero is in the making and Brie Larson is happy with the outcome.
During the comic con this year, the name of Brie Larson was announced as the female superhero for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) coveted project ''Captain Marvel.'' Bosslogic, the company responsible to create the look for Larson's character has come up with a unique costume. The color red represents female power and blue male power. Both the colors are used in the costume.
The Twitter post mentioned, ''Worked on an Alt version of @brielarson #CaptainMarvel with
@ComicBook.'' The costume is similar to the one which the readers are used to seeing in the comic books. According to Cinema Blend, this design is a good amalgamation of the modern edge techno look and the feminine aesthetics. The tinge of yellow gives a vibrant feel to the costume.
The Mohawk hairdo gave a retro look to the entire persona of Larson. It resembles the hair-metal videos from the 1980s and Larson seems to be happy with the look. She took to Twitter to express her approval and Tweeted ''So Cool.'' It seems, she is getting into the groove of the character now, as she has started wearing the ''Captain Marvel'' superhero outfits in her leisure time and has been reading the comic books to understand the finer details of the character.
Earlier this month she posted an image of herself in the social media with the same outfit. The wait will continue till more details about her looks are finalised. Even though the release date of the movie is set to three years from now, on March 8, 2019, the excitement has already begun. The name of the rest of the cast is yet to be revealed. Nicola Perlman and Meg LeFauve will be the scriptwriters for this project and the name of the director is yet to be finalised.
According to the official website, the height of the character of Captain Marvel is 5 feet 11 inches and Larson is about 5 feet 6 inches. Hence the editors have to add special effects to increase het height in the movie. The look of the character will go through several changes in the process.
