Seth Rollins will have another shot at winning the WWE Universal title after Finn Balor had to vacate the championship on account of a shoulder injury. The “Demon King” gracefully surrendered the title to Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon during WWE Raw.

Balor suffered the unfortunate shoulder injury during WWE SummerSlam 2016 during his match with Rollins. According to the Wrestling Observer, Balor possibly suffered the injury when he was power bombed through the barricades when both battled outside the ring.

MRI exams showed that Balor may possibly be suffering from a labrum tear which could keep him out of action for 8 to 12 weeks. Surgical consultation is expected to be made this week, ESPN reported.

Seth Rollins made a case and pitched he should inherit the title. However, other stars like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Big Cass, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho and Rusev coming out to stake their claim.

To settle the row, Raw general manager Mick Foley had a better idea by setting a fatal four-way match which would take place at next week’s Raw episode, WWE.com reported. To determine the final four combatants, qualifying matches were held.

When the smoke cleared, Reigns, Rollins, Owens and Big Cass were the last men standing, setting the stage for an epic battle next week. In the mix, Rollins and Reigns are the favorites though Owens and Big Cass are not to be discounted.

But the obvious underdog in the mix is Big Cass. The 7-footer is the only neophyte with his adversaries all being former champions at one point.

Big Cass has been christened as the next Kevin Nash who admits using some of “Diesel’s” mannerisms, CBS reported. However, it begs to ask where Enzo Amore ends up should Cass be the new Universal champion next Monday.

With Rollins, Reigns and Owens holding big odds, seeing a rising star and obvious underdog could make a lot of sense. Rollins is without a storyline while Owens (along with Chris Jericho) feuded with Cass and Amore.

Reigns could be a prime candidate but his last storyline with Rusev still leaves a cloud of doubt, an unsatisfactory conclusion, Bleacher Report reported.
