The Rock, more famously known now as Dwayne Johnson, has appeared in every WrestleMania since 2011 and it he could be continuing the streak next year. According to the latest rumors, there are plans for a huge match for The Rock at WrestleMania 33.

In a recent Instagram post, the semi-retired WWE superstar praised all of his female co-stars and some male co-stars in the movie "Fast 8." He blasted some unnamed male co-stars for being unprofessional and called them "candy asses."

This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on FAST 8 and I'll finish strong. #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses

Many news outlets revealed that The Rock was talking about Vin Diesel, who was rumored to be unprofessional on the set of the movie. The two have reportedly settled their differences during a meeting.

But according to Life&Style Magazine, the personal rivalry between The Rock and Diesel will be played out in a storyline in the WWE. It will culminate in a one-on-one match between the two stars at WrestleMania 33 next year in Orlando.

"They are playing a huge prank, and it's all for publicity. The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8," the report noted.

Johnson, who is Hollywood's highest-paid actor, first made his name wearing tights and wrestling sweaty men in the WWE, per Forbes. He was vital to the company's success during the "Attitude Era" and before leaving for bigger things in 2004.

The Brahma Bull returned in 2011 to host WrestleMania 27 and he has been part of the biggest wrestling show of the year up to the present. He wrestled John Cena at WrestleMania 28 and 29 before becoming part of the biggest opening segment in wrestling history at WrestleMania 30.

The Great One made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 31 wherein he confronted Triple H and Stephanie McMahon with the help of Ronda Rousey. And in this year's WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, he defeated Erick Rowan in an impromptu match.

Outside of wrestling, Johnson has been a successful actor and he starred in films such as the "Fast and Furious" franchise, "Hercules," "San Andreas" and "Central Intelligence." He also stars and produces the HBO television show "Ballers."

Nevertheless, it should be noted that The Rock vs. Vin Diesel match at WrestleMania 33 has not been confirmed and it is purely speculative at this point. Check out the video below for The Rock's return on January 25 in an episode of Monday Night Raw.
