Fans of the manga series, "Fairy Tail," are clamoring for the release of chapter 499, which is slated for Aug. 31 in Japan. Latest spoilers suggest that aficionados should get ready for a possible heartbreaking moment between Juvia Lockser and Gray Fullbuster.
In the looming "Fairy Tail" chapter 499, it is rumored that the water will not go by Invel Yura's orders, according to Mobile N Apps. On the contrary, she will choose to rather kill herself than hurt her beloved.
In chapter 498, Invel unveiled the extent of his winter power as Gray tried to overpower him. According to Hall of Fame Magazine, the latter attacked the former with his ice impact magic although the antagonist simply caught the molded ice and easily broke it into pieces.
Gray then challenged Invel if he would be able to stop his power to kill devils, which was surprising to the latter. When Invel responded with a blizzard, his power affected both his enemies and those around them. The Spriggan 12 members then confirmed that Gray's heart had been contaminated with evil.
Natsu Dragneel came to Gray's help since she claimed that the cold does not affect him. Lucy Heartfilia was in support that the protagonist's fire could indeed melt Invel's ice.
However, Brandish changed into a huge self and scooped up Happy, Natsu, and Lucy, leaving behind Juvia and Gray. The winter mage then bound the two characters with his power and ordered them to fight each other until someone dies.
Juvia, a former S-Class mage of the now split Phantom Lord Guild will try to sacrifice herself to save Gray. However, Gray will turn down her offer, asserting that it is stupid of her to make matters worse considering their situation. Juvia will apparently be pissed off by Gray's tone, and she will inadvertently use her Water Lock magic on him when they lose control of their powers.
The Ice Devil Slayer will later manage to break free, only to discover that Juvia's heart has suddenly stopped beating. The Ice Lock is as well expected to shatter afterwards.
There is no official synopsis released for "Fairy Tail" chapter 499, and therefore, available information should be taken with a grain of salt. Chapter 499 is scheduled to release on Aug. 31 in Japan.
