Avid viewers of the HBO series have witnessed how Williams' character Arya Stark has grown from a young girl into a skilled assassin in "Game of Thrones." The show's Season 6 has also shown the maturity and growth of Arya's siblings Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Sansa (Sophie Turner), as well as the resurrection of their adoptive brother Kit Harington's Jon. In an interview with Variety, Williams commented on how Arya will react once she reunites with Jon and her siblings.

The young actress shared that her character will be surprised with the challenges that her family members each experienced. She commented that Arya would become shocked that "she wasn't the only one going through hell." The British star added that her character will come to the realization with how much the events of the past have changed her brothers and sister including herself. "No one is quite the same anymore and they never will be again," she said.

Williams also commented that Jon will have a hard time accepting how much Arya has changed from an innocent young girl to a fierce fighter. She explained that the resurrected character has always considered himself as the person who will protect his adoptive siblings. Jon will continue to feel the same way despite the assassin skills that Arya has gained during her adventures.

The British star has also revealed the character that she wants Arya to encounter in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Williams shared that she would want Arya to meet Carice van Houten's Melisandre in the new season and be able to survive the encounter. Avid fans of the HBO show may recall that Melisandre is one of the persons in Arya's infamous kill list.

In other news, Williams made mention of her plans to read George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire," the book series on which the HBO show is based on. She revealed in a Deadline interview that she has yet to read the novels since her mother considered the books as inappropriate given her young age. The actress shared her excitement in discovering the differences between her version of Arya versus the character that has been depicted in the books.

Meanwhile, viewers can see more of Jon, Arya and her siblings in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7 that will air in summer 2017.
