Xiaomi Redmi 3S is not available for purchase in the United States and several other countries. However, GearBest is selling its 32 GB variant with a discounted price of $138 for customers all over the world. The product page says it is a limited period offer.
The Redmi 3S was announced in June this year. It is an impressive budget smartphone from Xiaomi that becomes with decent specs and a massive battery backup.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S has a 5-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels along with 294 ppi pixel density. It is fueled by Snapdragon 430 chipset that includes 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 505 graphics.
It comes in two RAM variants. The 2 GB RAM model has 16 GB of native storage and the 3 GB RAM model has 32 GB of storage. The 3 GB RAM model is also referred to as Xiaomi 3S Prime.
It is a dual-SIM phone and it allows users to add a microSD card. It comes loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and the latest MIUI 8 software from Xiaomi.
The rear camera of the phone is of 13-megapixel. The selfie shooter of Redmi 3S is of 5-megapixel. It also features a fingerprint reader.
Undoubtedly, the USP of the phone is 4,100 mAh capacity battery. It carries support for fast charging. The Redmi 3S is smaller edition of the Redmi Note 3, Indian Express reported. Hence, it also sports a metal unibody design like the Note 3. It measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm and 144 grams. The phone is available in color choices of gold, gray and silver.
On GearBest, the 32 GB Xiaomi Redmi 3S (aka Redmi Prime) is available with discounted pricing. The golden variant that is priced at $148 can be availed for $138 by using "xiaomiGBE" coupon code without quotes. It is a limited period discount that that will end in 6 days.
The silver variant of Redmi 3S Prime is available for $147. The 16 GB Redmi 3S in golden and silver colors are priced at $130 on the Chinese retailer site.
Xiaomi has recently unveiled Redmi Note 4 in China. Rumors indicate that the Chinese firm will soon release Xiaomi Redmi 4S.
