Taylor Swift, amid the super stardom, is just like everybody else. The singer, like any American, is not exempt from jury duties if not for her ongoing lawsuit.

Despite her hectic schedule, the 26-year-old singer, came to serve her civic responsibility in Nashville, Tennessee on a case that involved charges of aggravated kidnapping, rape and domestic assault, according to People.

The other potential jurors were definitely happy to see her. As proof, a fan has taken to Twitter to share a photo of the "Blank Space" singer and her mom.

The Twitter user told the publication that Swift was really very kind to the people at the courtroom, including her mother. She then added that she is very jealous of her mom for being so lucky to get that chance to be with Taylor Swift.

Furthermore, another fan shared a photo of Swift and her grandmother and captioned it, "So my grandma in Nashville had jury duty with @taylorswift13."

Meanwhile, another one tweeted a photo of the singer with her dad, then wrote, "when your dad has jury duty with taylor swift."

It turned out that Taylor swift, however, could not proceed to the Jury stand. Nevertheless her presence was good while it lasted and many people at the courtroom were very pleased that she came.

BBC reported that Taylor Swift was dismissed from jury duty shortly after she came. The court's reason was her pending sexual assault case filed in Denver, Colorado.

The Davidson County district judge decided to dismiss the singer because of a potential conflict of interest with the impending case.

It can still be recalled, last fall, that Swift filed a counter case against radio host David Mueller. Mueller allegedly groped the singer before her concert at the Pepsi Center in June 2013. The radio host has also filed a case against Swift claiming that he lost his job because of the singer's false allegations of sexual assault. Mueller is said to been banned from attending the singer's concerts since.

On the other hand, taking selfies inside the courtroom was prohibited. Thus, some of the photos that were taken with Taylor Swift circulated the social media only very briefly as they have already been deleted.
