The highly popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been replaced by Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Currently, it is only available in China, but retailers in China are shipping to buyers across the world.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Specs, Features
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a phablet device that was announce in the previous month. It wears a full metallic chassis and features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 401 ppi.
The Redmi Note 4 is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 SoC that houses a ten-core CPU, MIUI stated. As Xiaomi had first launched MediaTek edition of Redmi Note 3 and then followed it by Snapdragon variant. It is likely that Redmi Note 4 will be available in a Snapdragon version. This variant is expected to be aimed towards other markets like India.
The Note 4 comes in two storage models of 16 GB and 64 GB. These models feature 2 GB and 3 GB RAM, respectively. It is a dual-SIM phone and users can either use a second SIM or a microSD card on the second SIM slot of Redmi Note 4. Users can add up to 128 GB of microSD card on the device.
For photography, the Redmi Note 4 features a 13-megapixel shooter along with features like phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on its front side.
The phablet runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS along with the latest MIUI 8.0 software from Xiaomi. The rear side of the smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor. It comes with a humungous battery of 4,100 mAh capacity. It is available in three color choices of silver, gray and gold.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was not launched in the U.S. and several countries of the world. It was mainly released in some of the Asian countries. Xiaomi is expected to follow the same strategy to sell Redmi Note 4.
Customers who are interested in buying Redmi Note 4 can visit GearBest. It is selling the 16 GB gray variant of the smartphone with a preorder price of $256. The pre-order will end on Sept. 29.
