The summer finale of "Suits" Season 6 is a shocker as a main character has left the show and PSL (Pearson Specter Litt) is not the same. "Suits" Season 6B will take things forward as the preview suggests that it will be the beginning of a new chapter.

"Suits" Season 6 winter premiere spoilers and updates
Creator of the show, Aaron Korsh talked to The Hollywood Reporter about the finale and what happens in "Suits" Season 6B.
"We're picking up right where we usually do, where we left off. Had we gone with that other ending we would have picked up years later; it would have been too devastating not to. But as it is now, all of these characters have a lot going on," Korsh said.
Meanwhile, Mike has to make a decision about his future. Elsewhere, Louis and Harvey have the keys to the firm and they will be running the place.
"Mike has to figure out what he's going to do. Harvey, Louis and the firm have to figure out what they're going to do logistically and who's going to run the place. In addition to that, what are they going to do when the woman who has kept them from sort of killing each other all these years leaves? The last six is about that - to some degree it's about people figuring out what they're going to do in this time of change and uncertainly. Then hopefully at the end of it, we land on something that gives us somewhat of a paradigm for moving forward for next season."
Korsh talked to TVLine and stated that there will be a conflict between Louis and Harvey after Jessica's departure. But, there will be a "small twist" that unfolds at the end of "Suits" Season 6, episode 11 and is beginning to a new chapter.
