South Korean actor Gong Yoo does not have any social media accounts. The 37-year-old actor recently portrayed Seok-Woo in the hit zombie apocalypse thriller film, "Train to Busan."

On Sept. 18, Sunday, Gong's agency, Management Soop, released a statement, stating the "Coffee Prince" star does not have any social networking service accounts. The entertainment label warned fans to be aware and cautious about any potential damage from phony accounts, including bots.

"Recently, numerous fake and bot social media accounts have been found purporting to be actor Gong Yoo," Management Soop said in a statement obtained by Soompi. "We are releasing this notice as a result of the confusion felt by many of the fans due to these incidents."

Management Soop stressed that they do not operate any social media accounts for the actor either.  Nonetheless, news and updates about the actor are apparently available on their official Instagram and Facebook account.

Gong landed his first lead role in SBS's "Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy" (2005) opposite Gong Hyo-Jin. He first gained widespread fame with MBC's "Coffee Prince" as Choi Han-Kyul.

The "Big" actor experienced a resurgence in his acting career after he starred in the blockbuster film, "Train To Busan." The film, which had its premiere in the Midnight Screenings section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival on May 13, has grossed $99 million worldwide.

Talks about the possible "Train To Busan" sequel is currently making rounds online. In a recent interview with local news outlet Sports Chosun, as cited by Naver, Gong revealed he already expressed his interest to appear in "Train To Busan 2."

"I talked about this with director Yeon Sang-Ho," Gong revealed. "I said that I thought my character Seok-Woo might be living somewhere as a zombie, but director Yeon said that when Seok-Woo fell off the train, he broke his neck and died."

Gong then suggested director Yeon could make a sequel film from Sang Hwa's (Ma Dong-Seok) point of view since the character is still living on as a zombie. Nonetheless, it is worth noting that nothing has been officially set in stone yet.

Meanwhile, Gong will be making his long-awaited return to the small screen in tvN's "Goblin," an upcoming fantasy romance drama to be directed by Lee Eun Bok. Gong will be joined by Lee Dong-Wook, Kim Go-Eun, and Yoo In-Na.
