"American Horror Story: Roanoke" (AHS) Season 6 episode 2 is set to air on Sept. 21, Wednesday. "American Horror Story: Roanoke" (AHS) Season 6 premiered, last week. The show introduced the theme of the sixth season and its leading characters Shelby and Matt. Fans found out how Shelby and Matt left their Los Angeles home to settle in this farmhouse in North Carolina and strange things begin to happen.
Moving on to "American Horror Story" Season 6 episode 2. While there is no synopsis available for the Chapter 2, the network has released a trailer hinting at the events of the upcoming episode.
Episode 2 will pick up from where episode 1 left off and it will see Shelby lost in woods before she returns home traumatised after witnessing some shocking events. It is here where she will first meet Kathy Bates' character.
According to the reports, Season 6 is linked to 1950's The Lost Colony incident, which is also called Mystery of Roanoke. As noted by Deadline, Kathy Bates will make her first appearance as cleaver-wielding pilgrim, who is out for a revenge from the couple.
Lost in the woods, Shelby witnesses the colonists' practice devil worship preparing for human sacrifice. She is terrified as she informs her husband and they plan to move out.
TV Guide claims that "American Horror Story" (AHS) Season 6 episode 2 trailer gives a glimpse at Lady Gaga's character. As per the website, the songstress seems to be standing behind Bates as the colonists perform their rituals. Scroll down to watch the trailer online.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Vanity Fair, "American Horror Story" (AHS) Season 6 star Cuba Gooding Jr., who plays the role of Matt Miller, warns his fan of what's coming next and how it will impact their interpretation of "Twilight Zone."
"When you see this season, you'll realize how to interpret that 'Twilight Zone' idea to an entire other level. When your head goes 'boom' and you've got brains all over the wall, you're going to be like, 'Motherf---ing Cuba Gooding Jr.' I wish I could tell you when it happens, but I can't," Cuba Gooding Jr. said.
