Last Friday, Billy Idol was joined by Miley Cyrus on stage at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival. Both performed the 1983 hit song "Rebel Yell" live at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Idol, who was one of the festival's headline performers, sang four sets including his megahit tracks "Dancing with Myself", "White Wedding" and "Flesh for Fantasy" before introducing his special guest, Cyrus, who was not listed as one of the performers for the festival.

According to E! Online, the audience were surprised when the "Party in the U.S.A." singer stepped out and hollered to the excited crowd "I'm singing with Billy f--king Idol, let's do it!".

Cyrus paid tribute to the British rocker through her clothing and accessories. She adorned sunglasses with "Billy Idol" inscribed across it; her leather jacket had Idol's face printed on the back; and her leather pants had "I love Billy Idol" written down on both legs.

Both performed the 1983 hit song "Rebel Yell". Idol sang the first verse, while Cyrus took over the second verse.

A Rolling Stone article revealed that this was not the first time she performed "Rebel Yell". Cyrus covered the said song during a performance at the 2012 VH1 Divas concert.

Following their performance, Idol posted a picture of him with Cyrus in Instagram with the caption "I had a great time [tonight] on stage with [Cyrus]."

Also spotted at the iHeartRadio Music Festival last Friday was Cyrus' fiancé Liam Hemsworth. A report by US Weekly revealed the two went to OMNIA nightclub inside Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas for a post-performance celebration with friends including professional snowboarder Shaun White.

According to the entertainment news website, Drake, Sia, One Republic and U2 were among the other performers for the first night of iHeartRadio Music Festival. Moreover, Saturday's lineup included Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Sting, Usher and Pitbull.
