Xiaomi has recently announced the arrival of Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus on Sept. 27. Fresh speculations indicate that the Chinese company will be soon releasing Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro with amazing features like dual-edge curved screens, dual cameras and cheap pricing.
According to well-known analyst Pan Jiutang from China, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be announced by the end of next month. He has stated that two models of Mi Note 2 will be released. One will be powered by Snapdragon 820 and the other will include Snapdragon 821. The SD 821 variant will be launched with Pro moniker, Gizmo China reported.
Both Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Mi Note 2 Pro are expected to come with dual-edge curved displays. Like the Mi 5s, these phones will include pressure-sensitive screens. The Mi Note 2 may feature 3,600 mAh battery whereas is larger sibling may house 4,000 mAh battery.
Another recent report states that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 release date is set in November. The Mi Note 2 Pro is expected to feature 5.7-inch display whereas the Mi Note 2 will arrive with 5.5-inch screen. Both the phones are likely to offer Quad HD resolution.
The Mi Note 2 is pegged to come in two storage models of 64 GB and 128 GB. Both variants are expected to come with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM, respectively. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 rumors state that these models are likely to cost 2,499 Yuan (around $374) and 2,799 Yuan (around $419), respectively, International Business Times reported.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro that will be powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset are likely to come in two storage models of 128 GB and 256 GB that are going to respectively feature 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM. These models are expected to cost 2,799 (around $419) Yuan and 3,099 Yuan (around $464), respectively.
Speculations indicate that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Mi Note 2 Pro may get announced at the end of October. Its pre-orders are also expected to begin at the end of next month and shipments and sales will start off from November. Both the phones are expected to first Xiaomi devices to come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
