The producer revealed that Cassidy was willing to come back and they are excited for her. She also said that this is one of the fun parts of the show. Some people will leave and get killed, but there will some other new and crazy ways for them to come back.

Mericle said that there is a way for Laurel Lance, Cassidy's character, to bring her back, and she is going to be alive and well. She also revealed that the new season of "Flash" called Flashpoint might be the reason for that comeback.

Since the official announcement, a lot of fans have speculated on how Lance would be coming back. Some have speculated that the scenes of her return could be done through a flashback, dream, alternate timeline exposure, or even through the powers of a metahuman who could shapeshift.

Cassidy revealed that fans will be able to see her character in the Season 5 premiere of "Arrow," Comicbook quoted her as saying during the Salt Lake Comic Con panel. She said that she had this gut feeling that she will be coming back soon. She also explained that this is a TV show and in this world, anything can happen.

Cassidy said that she appreciates what the TV series team did for her for the last four and a half years. She also said that as a character and an actor, her character was an amazing one to play.

The TV actress also confirmed that fans will be able to see her in the premiere of season 5. She also said that she will be seen across all three shows, which are the "Flash," "Legends of Tomorrow," and "Arrow" for this year.
