Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce has left the former heartbroken and shaken up. He is not only dealing with a broken marriage, but also child abuse charges filed against him after a spat with his 15-year-old son Maddox.

According to US Weekly, Pitt is reportedly in a bad shape ever since Jolie filed for a divorce. The actor is struggling to keep it together and is totally crushed by the incident. In his days of exasperation, the actor cries all day and calls his parents after his split with Jolie, who he was with for over a decade.

An insider revealed that it is very shocking to see what his life has become after their separation. Although Jolie threatened divorce multiple times in the past, Pitt never thought that she would actually do it. While he is heartbroken by her decision, he is holding on to his six children to keep it together in his tough times. The same source also claimed that Pitt calls his parents everyday and talks to his mom, Jane Pitt, for emotional support.

Meanwhile, Jolie has been living in her Malibu house while Pitt is staying at his Hollywood Hills complex. Last week, the estranged couple decided that Jolie will have the physical custody of their six children, Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10) and Knox and Vivienne (8) until October 20.

The "Big Short" actor allegedly had a nasty fight with his son, Maddox, aboard their private jet that involved hitting his son on the face. Pitt is only allowed to have assisted visits to meet his children following the accusation of child abuse. As the investigation on child abuse charges is underway, the actor is only allowed to meet his children in the presence of a therapist, The Daily Mail reported.

After this incident, Jolie filed for divorce fearing Pitt's anger management issues. She also filed a report at the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, who are currently investigating the case.
