The unofficial "League of Legends" competitive quiz game from mobile will be coming to Steam soon. The game has one million installs through Google Play alone.

"League of Guessing is a game about the popular PC game characters that uses its settings and assets. Riot has not officially recognized this game in any way and they are not involved.

According to the official Steam page of the video game, it is a fan-made guessing game. The objective is to discover the name of the Champion based on their abilities with different clues.

The game has two modes, which are the single player and the three by three multiplayer modes. The single player mode lets players gain IP for guessing Champions. The IP they gain can be exchanged for keys.

Each of these Champions will start with one unlocked skill. Players can unlock the other three skills with the keys they have exchanged.

The developers would like the players to visit their Facebook page, since they will hand out daily key prizes and free keys. They can also get free keys every three minutes of play.

The second mode lets players join a team with two other players and compete against three others. This game mode will last for two minutes, and the winners will get IP and LP. LP is the points system used for ranking.

"League of Guessing" is actually very popular on the mobile platform. According to the official Google Play page of the game, it already has over 23,000 reviews and at least one million installs. Riot is actually okay with this fan game, even if they are using their art assets, as long as it is free and without microtransactions.

The game developers have followed the community creation guidelines, which were implemented by Riot for a while now. They have also put their own disclaimer on the Steam page to clarify it.

According to PC Gamer, they are glad that free fan games have thrived, and they are happy that Riot games are open to their community. They are letting their fans use their IP in many creative ways, even allowing ad revenue to be made from those games.
