"The Flash" season 3, episode 2 will introduce a new character in the professional life of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin).

In "Paradox," Barry will come face-to-face with his new colleague Julian Albert (Tom Felton). According to TV Line, Barry and Julian will immediately not like each other. Barry will be surprised why this is so, but the latter is basically one of the villains from season 2.

"We went two seasons with Barry in this CSI lab in CCPD with no one really with him. He was able to go investigate metahumans and crimes and take the information back to S.T.A.R. Labs, but he can't do that anymore because he's not top dog in CSI. He's got Julian, who is like his boss that he has to answer to. It's like, 'How am I supposed to get around this when all I need is this little thing and I could probably solve the case, but I can't get to it anymore?'" executive producer Todd Helbing said.

Meanwhile, Helbing said that there will be more revelations about Julian in the upcoming episodes. But in "Paradox," Julian will simply be portrayed as a huge threat to Barry and to the CSI world.

In the teaser released by The CW for episode 2, it has also been confirmed that "Arrow" character Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will crossover to Central City. After all, Barry altered the timeline so he will be reunited with some of the characters from his past.

During his conversation with Felicity, Barry tells the latter that he made a mistake altering the timeline just so he could spend more time with his parents. Felicity will encourage Barry to change it back to the original timeline, but it's not as easy as they both think.

In other news, Barry's friends will also be very disappointed with his decision to alter the timeline especially since this will have direct effects on them. Iris (Candice Patton) is not very happy with Barry, and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) also feel same way towards him.

"The Flash" season 3, episode 2 will air on The CW on Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
