"Mafia III" patch 1.01 makes 30, 60, unlimited frames per second options available for PC players. The Post-release content of the video game has been revealed by 2K Games.
According to the official website of Steam, the new patch is now available for PC players on Steam. 2K Games advised the players to restart their game with the new patch for a better experience from the start.
The developers explained that to select the framerate, players only need to go to the display menu in-game. They warned that the players must make sure that the framerate they will choose must be compatible with the power of their PC system. Those who will not follow might get game issues when they play the game again.
The new patch includes improvements to keyboard remapping as well. To change that setting, players are advised to head to the controls menu to check out the options.
The developers warned that the new patch will reset the keyboard mapping to default again. Any changes made prior to the new patch will be returned to default. They will need to be customized again after installing it.
While the new patch solves the problem of the framerate issue and improving the keyboard remapping feature, the game still has problems. Several Steam users report that they have been seeing graphic issues like weird-looking skies.
Some PC users reported that the gameplay has some bugs in it like having issues with the enemy AI. 2K Games assures the gamers that they are going to these issues and bugs and will release new patches whenever possible.
In other "Mafia III" related news, 2K Games has revealed the upcoming post-release content coming to the game. According to the official website of the game, it will have free recurring content for the players like new character outfits for the main protagonist, Lincoln. They will also get the Judge, Jury, and Executioner golden weapons 30 days after the game launches.
Players will expect more vehicle customization soon. They can customize their favorite ride with new wheels, personalized license plates, and paint jobs. They can also get options to boost the performance of their vehicles.
The game company will release free races for the players after a while. They can join different races to earn money, get new customization options for their vehicles, and other rewards.
2K Games will release more new stories for "Mafia III." Players will need to pay for the three major expansions, which are still in development. For those who have the Season Pass, they can get all of these contents for free, when they are launched.
