The latest "Gears of War 4" multiplayer update tweaks its credit system, and it also speeds up the progression. The Coalition also warns that there is a known bug in the game.

According to the official forums of the video game, the game developers were looking at their data and hearing the players' feedback about their new Credits system. They designed it to be consistently rewarding for the players, and has new content coming out throughout their time playing it. It also has the ability to acquire their Cards through the Card Creation system.

After the developers checked their data and read the feedback, it was clear to them that the calculations were under their own expectations. Their Play Progression team is now working hard to make changes to this issue as quickly as possible.

The game developers want to improve the players' experiences of acquiring Gear Packs. As a solution, they made a new server-side update to credits, and was launched in "Gears of War 4."

With the new patch, it changed a few things in the game. The Elite Pack Credit will now cost 3500 instead of 4000. They also increased the Match Completion bonus credits in Versus Multiplayer.

The Match Bonuses will also be provided even if the players will lose the game. Winning the match will reward the player higher XP and Credit returns. This will provide players with higher and more consistent Credit earn rate across the game modes.

The Coalition warns that there is a known bug that may display zero Credits when players earn their Match Bonus. For those who have seen this, they still earned their Match Bonus credits and XP, despite the buggy display. They promised to fix this issue in a future title update.

The game developers encourage players to try out the Card Creation system to acquire great cards. Cards can be destroyed to create Scrap, which in turn can be used to create Cards of their own choice once they have collected enough.

Writer Patricia Hernandez wrote on Kotaku that she played the game for a lot of hours already. Most of that time was spent waiting for "Gears of War 4" to get a player to play with. She tried different methods to fix the issue temporarily, but it did not work.

Currently, the developers' Online Services team has been working to fix some matchmaking issues encountered by numerous players. They are developing a new server side update, and it will be rolled out when it is ready.
