The special San Myshuno event is a perfect celebration for playful Sims who are looking to unleash their comedic, as well as mischievous sides. The said festival allows Sims to mingle with other game characters whose idea of fun involves a joke or prank-filled event.

Open to silly Sims of all age and sizes, the said "City Living" festival offers its attendees a chance to enjoy a skill upgrade or emotion buff. Players may find their Sim characters with a playful buff during the said event or even unlock funny interactions with other Sims.

However, the main event of the "Humor and Hijinks" festival involves a friendly competition between jokesters and pranksters. Drinking a light or dark tea during the event will serve as a Sim's allegiance pledge to join a specific group.

The team that can have the crowd laughing the most will win the competition. However, certain mischievous items such as the voodoo doll can affect a Sim's performance, as well as his team's chance to win the game.

Apart from the competition, the festival also features souvenir shops, food stalls, a tiki bar and more. Meanwhile, in-game teasers for the "Humor and Hijinks" festival are typically found on an apartment building's bulletin board or through street signs.

"The Sims 4 City Living" expansion pack will also include a few items found in previous stuff packs. The Party Fountain exclusive to the game's "Luxury Party" stuff pack will be made available in the new world San Myshuno's specific areas.

A member of "The Sims" team confirmed the said item's addition to the "City Living" expansion. In a Twitter Q&A session, compiled by the fansite Sims VIP, SimGuruGraham shared that the Party Fountain will only available during festival celebrations. Gamers would still need to purchase the "Luxury Party" stuff pack to include the said item in their build projects.

"The Sims 4 City Living" expansion pack will be released on Nov. 1 for PC and MAC. Watch the game's "Festivals" trailer below:
