"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 17 & 18 are confirmed to air back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, this week. SBS' fan-favourite series starring Lee Jon-gi (Wang So), IU (Hae Soo), Kang Ha-neul (Wang Wook) will resume its run and reveal what happens next in Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. It sheds light on Wang So and Hae Soo's future. Here are the spoilers for the next two chapters of the series. Read on to find out what happens next.

"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 16 saw Wang So forced to kill his brother Wang Eun. The king makes a shift in the capital from Kaesong to Seokyeong. Wang So goes to Seokyeong for two years, leaving Hae Soo behind. Meanwhile, Eun's murder takes a toll on the King. It is announced the king is terribly ill and he has been hallucinating about Eun.  

The show featured a two-year time jump and Wang So and Hae Soo's sweet reunion. Meanwhile, it was revealed that Wang So is prepared to become the king. Wang So admits his desire to become the king to Hae Soo.

Moving on to "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 17. According to News Everyday, Wang So will succeed the third prince Wang Yo after he is declared mentally ill. Finally, So will be crowned as the king of Goryeo Dynasty much to his opponents dismay.

A promo video for episode 17 teases the moment when the new king is announced. Meanwhile, fans will see Wang Yo's mental health deteriorate and he gets violent. News Everyday is speculating that Hae Soo and Wang So may get married. The two are seen sharing a warm moment on the royal bed. At the same time, it is speculated that Hae Soo might be pregnant. Unfortunately, Hae Soo cannot become the queen of the dynasty.

As for Wang Wook, he is very upset. He breaks the bracelet that he had once given Hae Soo. He may rise as the ultimate villain. In a moment of rage, Wang Wook reveals that he cannot accept them and wants to kill them all. Scroll down to watch the promo video online.

In addition, the network released some photos of Wang So and Hae Soo from the upcoming episodes of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo." As published on Soompi, the two can be seen sharing some romantic moments. It is said that Wang So will find himself in danger once again and Hae Soo will risk her life and escape the castle to see him.

"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 17 airs Oct. 24, followed by episode 18 on Oct. 25 at 10:00 pm KST on SBS. More spoilers and updates are expected soon.
