After 3 years from the launching of "Dead Rising 3," "Dead Rising 4" is finally having its worldwide release on Dec. 6 for both Xbox One and Windows 10. With its upcoming launch, pre-orders are already accepted for the Xbox One. That being said, players who would be pre-ordering will have an exclusive ownership of the X-Fists, a weapon which could be equipped together with the Exo suit.
In their official website, the famous zombie-smashing game franchise claimed they have sold over 8.6 million copies worldwide. Now that it is celebrating its 10th anniversary this 2016, developers wanted to offer a new installment, "Dead Rising 4" to its long-time fans.
Described as a video game with "dark humor" and "innovative open world gameplay," the game developers are aiming to deliver a renewed view for the zombie apocalypse theme with every installment they release.
As announced by Xbox official page, "Dead Rising 4" will come to both the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. According to the same page, the upcoming installment will come with new collection of weapons and vehicles players can use for zombie destruction.
Set in Willamette, Colorado, an outbreak suddenly covered the Willamette Memorial Complex and other surrounding towns. Frank West will unravel the truth behind the outbreak as he explores the vast and open world sandbox occupied by zombies.
"Dead Rising" was first released in 2006. Created by Keiji Inafune and developed by Capcom, the video game franchise had been released to several platforms like Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and iOs.
Before the fourth installment is released, "Dead Rising 3" was still launched 3 years ago. Protagonists revolved around three characters, namely, Frank West who was the main character in the first installment, and the returning protagonist of the upcoming entry. Chuck Green, the main protagonist in "Dead Rising 2" and Nick Ramos, the main man in "Dead Rising 3."
The standard edition for the "Dead Rising 4" is priced at $59.99 on the Microsoft Store. Pre-orders for the PC version will be available in the upcoming months.
